My Ready for Battle Warrior,

We’ve been talking about the need to be properly clothed and armed for battle.  “….having your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace…” “What in the world is that?,” some of you ask. That’s a lot, My beloved warrior! It means you’ve put on your combat boots and are ready to advance. It means you’re waiting for the trumpet to sound the advance. Like a warrior horse stomping-at-the- bit, waiting for the signal for the battle to begin, so too are so many of you getting excited as you strain against the bit, ready to go!  But are you really ready, my soldier, My bride?  Those boots are pointed in only one direction – forward! There is no trumpet sound for retreat in My army. There is a sound to gather together, a sound to stand firm, one to advance, a blast of the trumpet to attack, there is a sound to regroup, there is the mighty blast of victory… but there is no sound for retreat!  I AM YAHWEH Sabaoth. I do not know defeat, only victory!  Again, I say your boots are pointed in only one direction – forward!  So, My mighty warrior, are you really ready to enter the fray of battle?  How well are your feet shod with the Good News of Peace?

My message of Peace does not begin with Mathew 1:1. My message of Peace begins with Genesis 1:1 and continues on through Revelation 22:21.  If you are not prepared with My entire message of Peace your combat boots have holes in the soles and are not properly laced and tied.  You may easily trip over your own feet while in the midst of battle – and the enemy shall have a hey-day with you! You are My beloved warrior, so if you read My “Combat-Manual” you shall be ready for any turn of battle. You are the head and not the tail in every battle.  But if you let ignorance gain a foothold in your life you shall not be ready when the trumpet to gather to battle sounds.  Ignorance may seem like bliss to the stubborn, the self-willed, the lazy, the worldly, but in the end I shall hold them accountable for neglecting to keep their sword, My Word, sharp and ready-at-hand.

So, what is this peace I AM asking you to fight for?  In Hebrew, the language I have chosen to use to speak to you, My beloved, is the word “sim.” It means to be complete, to be sound, to be whole, to live well.  There is also the word “shalom”, to have right relationship or harmony with another, to have covenant with another, to have prosperity, success, fulfillment, to have victory over your enemies. My peace expresses completeness and safety. I AM PEACE!  My Name is Yahweh Shalom.  From Genesis to Revelation I tell you who I AM and My Name YAHWEH Shalom is woven throughout MY Word.  If you know My Name you know My Word.  If you know MY Word you know My Name.  In Psalm 91 I tell you all the promises I have for you because you know My Name (Look that one up, My Precious, My Bride).

This is the peace that passes all understanding, beloved of My Heart.  It is so much more than freedom from conflict.  Is this not a peace worth fighting for?  When you are encompassed with all the things mentioned above, no matter what your current circumstances, I AM there with you.  I AM YAHWEH Shama, I am always near, as close as your open heart.  So, get to know Me as a General, not as a private.  All you have to do to advance in rank is to spend time in My Word and you shall find yourself shod in the best combat boots any warrior could desire.  You shall be ready to answer any trumpet blast I, your Commander-in-Chief, shall order.
